Stumped on a character? Don't know if you're going in the right direction character-wise? The "ALL KNOWING" Kur can help you.
Credibility;
I won;
• #82 - impress me
•#159 - impress me
•#183 - impress me/HUGE competition.
I've guest judged;
•#161
•#269
•#225
• Currently guest judging #100
What I can help you with?
•Writing; Your basic grammar/punctuation. Although it may not be drastically important, bad grammar is distracting while reading about a character and could hinder your ability to portray a character. However, under no circumstance will I ever write a part of a form for you.
•Character development; Is your character interesting? Are they well developed? Are they realistic? Character development is a crucial part of a competition. If the judge doesn't like your character, you're most likely not going to win.
•An intriguing form; Although it's not what you usually think while judging, you want your form to be eye catching/hook the reader in. Reading a form is almost like dancing with someone new. If the form or dancer is energetic/performs/captivates you, you'll want to keep dancing (or reading in the form's case), if they barely have any energy and feel flat, you're gonna want to go dance with someone else. It's especially important if you have a long form; don't bore your reader!
•Realism In your life, you can't be the president but also run a secret opporations for another country and own a chain of sushi resturants that you're active with AND be a famous athlete, and neither can your character. As cool as it all sounds, your poor little character cannot manage that. Plus, the more you add, the less room you have to improve on other/more important parts of the form.
What I don't judge on;
•Art I don't like my art to be critiqued so I don't critique others. Plus I don't think I know enough about art.
•Coding It's nice, but doesn't make a complete character.
If you're in need of a critique, just post saying so on this thread. ^_^
